Once upon a time not long ago, I was a… (now if you didn’t sing along this is your moment to exit the chat). Welcome to my lifestyle blog! My name is Shantell but my family calls me Fat, some people call me Tell, and SDot is the nickname I gave myself way back when Myspace was popping. I have an eleven year old daughter, A’Yonna, and a dog, Gorgeous, to spend my coins and whom keep me company. I’ve been working in education for the past seven or so years and Monday through Friday I am somebody’s high school English teacher. I also have two advance degrees which are not required to teach (in case you were wondering) and Sallie Mae basically owns them. New Orleans is where I reside and it has many bars and restaurants that either help me to not think about being single or where I can find men who last approximately 5-7 business days. This blog will be home to lot of my thoughts about topics like current events, dating, motherhood, money, and my career. Think of it as a group chat with your girls but I’ll just be telling all of my business instead.
